Sr. Program Manager
Salt Lake City, UT
6month contract to hire
Pay Range: $50.00 - $70.00per hr

Job Description:

Reporting to the Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master, you will be the expert in scaled Agile initiatives. You will be responsible for managing scrum master items that include owning Sprint/Release calendar management, sprint planning, helping the team make appropriate commitments through story sizing and task definition, and leading effective retrospectives.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of recent experience with Program Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading an Agile scrum development team.
  • Experience working with Product Owners, UX Teams, Solution Architects to identify and establish milestones for technical projects
  • Experienced in monitoring project performance and creating reports for leadership
  • Experienced in creating various presentations
  • Sprint/release tracking and communication skills
  • Experience keeping team on tract and away from distractions
  • Process and Tool improvement expertise
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum management tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)

Bonus/Soft Skills:

  • Complete system life cycle using the Agile Scrum Methodology phases from project initiation, analysis and requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation
  • Continuous integration and automated deployment experience for multi-branched, multi-module projects using Jenkins or similar tools is preferred
  • Certified as a Scrum Master from an accredited institution
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
