Job Description

Job Title: Outside Sales Rep


Location: Soda Springs, ID or Salt Lake City, UT


Duration: Direct hire, long-term


Salary range: 80-100K DOE guaranteed for 6 months.


Possible extension then commission only after the guaranteed commission is over.



Job Summary:


Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing sales strategies and attracting new clients.


Source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas.


Play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.


Product responsibility will include the sale of pumps equipment, blowers, and accessories.



Job Responsibilities:


Outbound phone calls, emails, and networking events.


Responsible for generating leads by being out in the community, meeting face to face with companies assessing their business needs.


Responsible for meeting with current clients to grow and enhance their experience.


Schedule future calls and action steps to keep prospects and clients in the sales pipeline.


Research accounts and focus on prospect's needs to ensure a successful business partnership is created.


Build a rapport with current and prospective clients to grow business and bring in new accounts.


Ensure product knowledge to give educated information on the types of services and products that would best meet client needs.



Job Requirements:


BA/BS engineer degree preferred


3+ years of proven outside sales experience


Strong technical/mechanical aptitude and industrial sales with pumps or adjacent industrial experience such as hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, blowers or motors.


Ability to technically consult and present technical solutions.


Track record of over-achieving quota


Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM


Excellent verbal and written communications skills


Strong listening and presentation skills


Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively


Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills


Self-motivated and driven
